You can find us quite easily by using our postcode and following these simple directions …. as long as you use the A71 to get here!
(NB. Our postcode covers several properties over a wide area and most SatNavs will take you via the B743 to Muirkirk road, which means you totally bypass our farm and end up at the next farm half a mile away!)
You can search for ‘The Wee Farm Cattery’ on Google Maps where we are clearly marked.
From Strathaven take the A71 towards Darvel/ Kilmarnock and after approximately 4 miles take the turn left towards Gilmourton, drive towards the village.
At the t-junction in the village turn left so that Gilmourton Primary School is on your left and the village is behind you, you will then be facing up the hill.
Continue forward, crossing the bridge and drive all the way to the top of the hill. When you reach the t-junction you will see the Cattery sign on the fence post – turn right here and immediately left into our driveway where you can park and safely unload.
From Darvel/ Priestland take the A71 towards Strathaven.
Approx 1 mile from Drumclog you will see the signpost to Gilmourton, just after Greenfields Farm and on a bend, turn right here and continue towards the village.
Once you have the primary school on your left carry on ahead out of the village, crossing the bridge and drive all the way to the top of the hill. When you reach the t-junction you will see the Cattery sign on the fence post – turn right here and immediately left into our driveway where you can park and safely unload.
